Yesterday, we hosted the first-ever Moogsoft AIOps Symposium at San Francisco’s Exploratorium — an event where ITOps and DevOps leaders from enterprises such as Microsoft, SuccessFactors, GoDaddy, HCL, and others came together to discuss the transformational impact of algorithmic technology on modern ITOps and DevOps.
The response was overwhelming, with registration numbers being nearly 50% above what the venue could even hold! With such a broad audience of forward-thinking ops leaders from businesses as diverse as digital entertainment to banking, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share details of a significant platform release, which will be coming to our customers on April 12th. This release will ensure that our technology innovations remain at the forefront of the digital transformation occurring across enterprise businesses around the world by helping ITOps and DevOps teams become faster, smarter, and more effective.

What’s New in Moogsoft AIOps
With this new release, specific new platform capabilities include a Real-Time Service Dashboard, Agile Workflows, Team Rooms, Kanban Boards, and Global Search to help teams streamline their collaboration for service-impacting incidents. A new Algorithmic Clustering Engine (ACE) has also been released, which allows your event data to be correlated in real time, using an array of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
That’s not all — this new version of Moogsoft AIOps will be available on mobile devices, allowing you to quickly detect and resolve service-impacting issues regardless of physical location.

Algorithmic Clustering Engine
Our Algorithmic Clustering Engine (ACE) dynamically clusters related Alerts into unique Situations, all in real time. This a new category of machine learning that combines the power of supervised and unsupervised algorithms so insights can be delivered in real time. Relationships are inferred using a combination of time, linguistics, topology, ops templates, and neural feedback from operators. This unique approach to IT Event correlation provides your team with an instant, proactive view into service-impacting issues before your customers detect them Best of all, these algorithms learn on the fly, and do not require historical training.
Real-Time Service Dashboard
The first thing you’ll notice in the new Moogsoft AIOps is the updated user experience which is modern, simple, lightweight, and intuitive. The Real-Time Service Dashboard is your home screen and provides a top-down summary view of your service/application health so you can quickly see how areas of your production stack are faring, and easily track performance indicators such MTTA (Mean Time to Acknowledge) and MTTR (Mean Time to Restore).
Collaborative Team-Based Workflows
Now it is easier than ever to manage Situations by both services and teams. Modern enterprises and service providers can streamline collaboration through an agile, lightweight workflow in Moogsoft AIOps. This consolidates team communication and codifies knowledge via Situation Matching, which surfaces historical data so that you can leverage tribal knowledge and expedite remediation.
The Situation Room has been updated to provide more guided, prescriptive, and actionable insight.
The new Situation Room even embeds your existing tools — like AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic, and more — for contextual linking.
New Team Rooms provide Kanban-style task boards for your teams to easily manage Situations that are assigned to them.
The modern enterprise is distributed, with team members oftentimes in different locations as opposed to being huddled together in a NOC. Now, with Moogsoft AIOps, any team member can access any Situation, at any time, anywhere in the world, on any device.
