This past year at Moogsoft has been monumental for the company’s journey. With significant product enhancements, the introduction of SaaS deployment, new integrations, and key strategic partnerships, you’ll now find Moogsoft’s Incident.MOOG being used as the early warning incident detection and remediation system across IT departments at some of the world’s largest organizations, including Royal Bank of Canada, Yahoo, GoDaddy and Cisco, to name a few.
Earlier this month, Moogsoft announced an oversubscribed $30m series C funding round that really speaks to the company’s increasing momentum and growth. The round was led by Northgate Capital and Singapore Technologies Telemedia (ST Telemedia), along with participation from SingTel Innovate, Cisco Investments, Redpoint, Wing and other equity holders. For more detail on the funding round, check out Behind Moogsoft’s $30M series C Round.
Instead of using the funding to open up offices around the world, Moogsoft plans to leverage existing and future partnerships to fuel global expansion, while investing heavily in R&D. Moogsoft’s partnership strategy with Cisco and HCL has proven to be successful, which explains why both organizations participated in the series C funding round for a stake in the company’s success.
In a recent Impact Report, 451 Research senior analyst Nancy Gohring explains how Moogsoft’s funding round, in addition to the further pursuit of strategic partnerships, gives the company a good shot at success.
“Machine learning is an important tool that can be used to quickly analyze the growing volume of infrastructure data in order to deliver actionable insights to IT organizations,” said Gohring. “Moogsoft has leveraged machine learning with the aim of helping customers reduce the noise around alerts that many enterprises are struggling to get a grip on.”
