Making humans more productive is what Moogsoft AIOps is all about, and with our latest release we’ve taken several steps to do just that.

The Moogsoft Team Room
The Team Room is a place for all members of a team (e.g. DevOps, DBA, Network, App Support) to hang out, collaborate and communicate whenever a business-impacting Situation requires their expertise. It has native ChatOps capabilities and can also sync with communication platforms like Slack.
The ‘Collaborate’ area provides a Facebook-like personalized live feed of all user and automation activity relating to that team. Information is pushed to the team feed as it occurs in real time, without any configuration or filtering.
The Kanban Situation Board
The Situation board is a Kanban board that visualizes the four major phases of the workflow in active Situations: Opened, Assigned, In Progress, and Resolved. The status of Situations is automatically updated on the Task Board as they progress. This makes it easy to see the live state of a Situation and understand what’s needed to take it to completion.
Why Did We Build It?
ITOps and DevOps professionals today struggle to collaborate. Different teams focus on different services or IT components and look at different tools for diagnostic tools. There is a lack of Situational Awareness and as a result, tickets are constantly escalated, effort is duplicated, and resolution is delayed. If Moogsoft can push the right Situations / Incidents / Tickets to the right team(s) at the right time then it’s a huge win:win for our customers.
How Does It Work?
